Small gun emplacement with domed rusty metal roof. [Similar in style to, but not, an Allan Williams turret, one of three along this coast and part of RAF Crail defences]. [Information from R. Marsden].

Steel dome set on steel cylinder and buried. It is not an Allan Williams turret, but shows similarities.

Two-man coastal observation post constructed of concrete with domed sheet iron roof. Concrete slit seaward and hinged steel door to landward. Generally in poor condition. P Yeoman 1992. A WW2 steel pillbox/watchpost situated next to the coastal path on the edge of the golf course, N of the Club House. The pillbox has a steel domed top with a cylinder below, though similar to, it is not an Allan Williams Turret. J Guy 1994; NMRS MS 810/3, 80
