Type 22 pillbox, shell-proof.

Pillbox [type 22] adjacent to canal towpath, but fenced off as on private land. Some deterioration around the rim of the roof but otherwise in good condition.

Type 22 pillbox, with field of fire S across canal and to W across weir. Wood-shuttered. Crack along casting line of roof section.
