Slot on west side of A281 road in wall of 'Sea Horse' public house. Block with chamfered face and slot for wooden 'Home Guard' barrier. Square concrete base was visible in road surface opposite block. [Surrey Industrial Society record gives NGR - TQ 000475].

Slot in concrete block at side of the road to take road block horizontal post. A plaque has been affixed to the block, reading, 'G.H.Q. This roadblock marks the line of the last ditch defence against German invasion, Summer 1940'.
