Circular concrete-faced pillbox - faces SE. [Ref: SU94/36]. [[North East Hampshire survey record gives NGR - SU 995471, which is given the location description, 'towpath N of Broadford Bridge, Shalford'].

Circular concrete pillbox - faces E. [probably reinforced type 24]. On disused railway embankment. 5 standard '3-step' rifle/LMG embrasures. Steps up side of embankment. National Trust plaque records history.

A variation of the type 24 thick walled pillbox, with no rear embrasures. Exterior made of concrete blocks. There is an adjacent plaque recording the history of this pillbox and its place in the GHQ Line. Concrete steps lead down a bank adjacent to the pillbox.
