Brick and concrete type 24 pillbox, facing N across an open meadow to Shenley village. The rear blast wall has fallen down and now blocks the entrance. All the pillboxes in the Shenley area were connected by a massive anti-tank ditch - 20ft wide x 12ft deep [see UORN 13461]. The pillbox stood on the S edge of the ditch.
