Typical type 24 thick walled pillbox. The rear wall containing the entrance is approx. 20ft long, the exact opposite wall approx. 9ft long, and the other walls approx. 12ft and 10ft long. There is an exterior brick wall, with sloping concrete roof protecting the entrance. Inside the 'ceiling' is lined with corrugated asbestos sheeting, which appears to have been in place before the concrete roof was made. Exterior brick is probably shuttering only[?].
[Recorder gives NGR as ST 86706130].
