Pillbox by canal bridge and railway line. Appears to be sited to fire east towards but not over hump-backed canal bridge.

Type 24 pillbox, overlooking Macclesfield Canal. The canal is approx. 10m away. It covers a small bridge. A railway line is situated to the rear. Sited on the W bank of the canal facing E. It has stepped embrasures.
