Type 22 pillbox. Sited above River Cowie Water in Glen Ury to the E of the house. Position overlooks a sharp bend in the river at this point.

Pillbox. One of two, which are 6-sided, made of a mixture of granite, concrete and brick. The western pillbox has additional firing loops on two sides.
