Pillbox that has been preserved by East Devon District Council. A plaque affixed to the structure in 1994 commemorates its history. There is no access to the interior, but the embrasures have been glazed and 1940 artefacts have been set out inside. Beyond the pillbox a steep bank falls away to the sea.
