Extensive system of possible 'anti-glider trenches' recorded on RAF 1946 aerial photograph and Cambridge University 1975 AP. Possibility that these are simply land drains - and certainly they do utilise existing drain courses - but banking of spoil on alternate sides of discontinuous lengths of ditch suggests military origin (or enhancement).
