Type 22 pillbox, facing E, reduced to half-height between 1999-2000] and rubble piled inside. Entrance was blocked up to waist height. Covered in vegetation, which, however, was higher before demolition.

Type 22 pillbox that stood on a hedgeline NE of Canewdon. It would have fired N towards the River Crouch. The area where it stood is now a large open field.
