Pillbox of square type [which may be based on a type 28 design without the large central embrasure]. Brick skinned, interior and exterior. No interior blast wall. The rear entrance is approx. 1 metre wide. Interior is whitewashed, with vertical recesses cut into the walls below the embrasures. Generally good condition inside, but some modern graffiti. The pillbox guards the E approach to the hamlet of Coopers Green and the town of Uckfield to the S. with PLAN drawn on form.
