Square concrete pillbox, facing S, with on the N side (the rear) a circular brick gun pit. Internal diameter of structure is approx. 6.5ft. This pillbox is just outside the NE perimeter of the ROF site, and is set into the S abutment of a bridge (removed in the early 20th Century) that crossed the GWR line at Dawley.
