The pillbox has the same basic layout as a type 27, but with no open central well. There is an internal straight anti-ricochet wall at a right angle to the entrance. The entrance, which is built into the side of the embankment, is protected by an 'L'-shaped wall. The pillbox is constructed of reinforced concrete (with wood shuttering, but the entrance wall is made of concrete blocks. There is a large and deep crack running over the roof and down the two faces that follow the edge of the embankment.
