Emplacement is situated on a narrow V-shaped bank between the Kennet and Avon Canal and the River Kennet. The foundations actually touch the water on both sides. An unclassified road runs along the third side of the triangular site. The entrance faces the road and is boarded up. The inside is visible and seems to be intact. There is a 2pdr embrasure on the E side. [Colin Alexander's gazetteer lists it as a type 28a].
