Square pillbox set in hillside, the leading corner of which covers approach to bridge and thus RAF Turnhouse. 4 embrasures in each of the walls. Door and porch extends from rear corner.

A pile of concrete rubble is next to the pillbox. Pillbox covers the approach to railway bridge, and approach to airfield from North. Excellent field of fire.
