Abstract: |
The assessment of the proposed route of the A417 revealed 53 sites and monuments to be within the development area. One of the few upstanding monuments was the Scheduled barrow group at Emma's Grove. 11 sites are undated cropmarks; 16 are findspots and the remainder include earthworks, road alignments and structures. |
