Abstract:
A desk-based assessment was completed in advance of a planning application. The assessment considered the effect of development on the World Heritage Site, Listed Buildlings and Conservation Area. It also considered effects on non-designated heritage sites, the Peskett brick sculptures and the potential for previously unrecorded archaeological remains. The existign buildings were considered to be of low value. Recording of the brick sculptures and consideration of the detailed design with regard to heritage were recommended.
