Abstract: |
Full archaeological recording of a single dwelling building plot in Milfield village, Northumberland. The archaeological remains consisted of 8 features that included predominantly post holes together with a pit and stakehole. The features are thought to date to the Neolithic on account of impressed ware pottery sherds found in two of the post holes. A few lithics were also recovered together with charcoal and charred organics that included evidence for wheat cultivation. |
