Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation involving fieldwalking, documentary research, magnetometer survey and trial-trenching was undertaken in advance of the granting of permission to develop the land. Sites known from aerial photographs and thought to represent a Neolithic enclosure and Iron Age settlement were confirmed as such. The former site was exceptionally well-preserved, whilst the latter was predominantly Roman in date. A relationship was established with another Iron Age site nearby, too.
