Abstract: |
Installation of a new toilet inside the west tower involved the drilling of a small hole through the tower west wall above foundation height and the excavation of a drainage trench along the west side of the churchyard. The presence of a few stones in the soil next to the tower indicated the presence of the construction layer for the tower. No archaeological features were present and, apart from a few pieces of human bone that were reburied in the pipe trench, there were no finds. |
