Abstract: |
On February 11, 2008, East Lothian Council Archaeology Service undertook a watching brief during groundbreaking works associated with the construction of an agricultural shed at Greystanes Field, Camptoun, East Lothian. The building works did not require planning permission, but as long cist burials had been found in this field in the past, it was decided that the Archaeology Service would monitor the soil stripping. The stripped area was a rectangle measuring 9m by 13m. No archaeological features or artefacts were encountered. |
