Abstract: |
Statement of Significance: The rural meeting house at Mosedale has high heritage significance as one of the earliest meeting houses in Cumbria, built in 1702, and an association with the Founder of the Religious Society of Friends, George Fox. The vernacular building contains original furnishings and there is an adjacent detached burial ground. |
