Abstract:		 An archaeological desk based assessment and site walkover was carried out on the site of a proposed holiday chalets development on land at Billingsley Park Farm, Billingsley, Shropshire. The work was undertaken by Archaeology Wales Ltd. The assessment area and its immediate surroundings are located at the very western edge of the Wyre Forest Coalfield. The assessment area includes the sites of various late 18th to early 20th century industrial coal workings with a large area of older iron workings located within woodland immediately to the west.
