Abstract:		 An archaeological excavation and watching brief revealed several tree throws which contained RB pottery. No significant structures or deposits were revealed, but the presence of the tree throws suggests the area may have been cleared for agricultural purposes and may be associated with the Brislington Roman villa that was found just a few metres away when housing was built in the late 19th century.
