Abstract: |
Monitoring topsoil-stripping in advance of the construction of two new houses to the E of Rustic Lodge, between the Comrie Bridge to Kenmore Road and the River Tay. Topsoil and other modern materials were stripped by machine to reveal fluvio-glacial deposits of gravel, pebbles and boulders with occasional lenses of coarse sand. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered. |
