Edward Martyn Jope (1915-96), founder of the Department of Archaeology at the Queen's University of Belfast, was a medievalist and specialist in the study of the Iron Age art of the British Isles. As a Fellow of the British Academy he is the subject of a Memoir (Addyman, P., 2014. 'Edward Martyn Jope 1915-1996', Biographical Memoirs of Fellows XIII, British Academy, 294-311).

In addition, a Bibliography of Jope's published works, partly based on a list he created himself, has been prepared.
