Description: | External wall of the SW House |
Notes: | Wall 1746 makes up the southern external wall of the SW House. Same as wall 1160 and adjoined by and sharing the same build as partition walls 1161 and 1162. In 2002, wall 1746 was exposed at footing level from the junction with 1162 to the SW corner of the building where the the adjoining wall is removed by robber trench [3636]. Wall 1746 was robbed here to footing level by robber cut [4017]. Towards the SE corner of the SW House, wall 1746/1160 is removed (any robbing is obscured by Victorian trench [1558]). Completely removed in 2003. Found to be the same build as all walls of the SW House. 1746 is an external wall of the SW House and is part of 1160.
