Description: | |
Notes: | What was previously thought to be a fill was actually a thick layer of compacted silt and clay. The heavy inclusions of charcoal contributed to its dark colour. |
Composition: | Firm black silty clay with 1-5% inclusions of large pieces of charcoal and fragmented CBM. It was c.2cm thick with an extent of 0.3m by 0.2m. |
