Abstract:
A remarkably preserved causewayed enclosure is described, together with its evidence for woodworking, for the use of cattle as draught animals, and for the vegetational succession. Two other waterlogged sites, Etton Woodgate I and II, were examined/salvaged; one is earlier Neo, the other Beaker in date and yielded textile and ?charcoal-burning evidence.
