The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:
Describes and discusses a road built by Cistercian monks to link the abbeys of Strata Florida and Abbey Cwmhir in mid-Wales. It is noted that the route is not followed by any modern roads and can still be traced today. It is suggested that there may be more planned medieval roads surviving in other regions, especially the uplands. PP-B
