Four Iron Age burials, three of which proved to be extremely rich, were discovered during construction work. In adjacent graves two wooden buckets were found. The handles of the buckets were very ornate, possibly representing some of the finest Celtic metalwork yet found in Britain. Both buckets have now been conserved. IH | ||||||||
