Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
The soil micromorphological analysis of buried soils and probable 'midden' deposits buried beneath alluvium from six sites between Maxey and Etton (Cambs) has revealed a deforested Neo landscape which quickly became subject to seasonal alluviation. The Neo/BA use of this landscape appears directly related to its interpretation as an alluviated floodplain rather than an alluviated former dry-land area. The more permanent domestic settlements in this general area have yet to be found. Au (amp) | ||
