Excavation in East Sandgate revealed a complex sequence near the harbour from early 14th century onwards. Evaluation of deposits in St Sepulchre Street hinted at the location of the Friary precinct wall. On the Paradise Estate it was shown that the area was fully occupied from 12th century. | |||
