Abstract:
SP 546057. The second season's work confirmed the existence of two phases of pottery manufacture (late 3rd century; 4th century). The principal discoveries were a pottery drying area, ancillary structures and a kiln of the second phase, generally similar in layout to those of the first phase. A ditch system is probably the remains of an early Roman field system. Another part of the site produced a well-preserved 4th-century kiln and more early Roman ditches. Au(adp)
