Abstract:
The site comprises an earlier sub-rectangular enclosure superimposed with a later oval structure. Excavation in 1985 uncovered three banks and three ditches, as well as sundry features and contexts. This added little to the understanding of the site, bar revealing that enclosure A was defined by a large ditch and double banks. No dating evidence was recovered, however comparative examples suggest an Early Iron Age date for the primary enclosure. IH
