SX 859668. An assemblage of pottery moulds and crucibles of 10th century BC represents at least two episodes of manufacture of military equipment by a bronzesmith. Two types of crucible were in use, and the moulds represent two spearhead types, ferrules, swords, and ?rings of a regionalized Wilburton industry. Fabric analysis of the moulds indicated a high level of pyrotechnology. DG. See also 81/8047. | ||||||||||
