The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:
Discusses excavations at the site in 1846--47 which exposed thirty-two rooms, five of which had the remains of tessellated pavements. Records have since been lost and it is not known whether all five of the pavements were mosaics or not. It is thought that fragments from four mosaics housed in the Gloucester City Museum came from the site, and they are described in detail.
