Excavation in the core of the burgh of Anstruther Easter, Fife, revealed evidence of medieval activity in the vicinity and a complex sequence of post-medieval structural remains and deposits. The investigation also produced important assemblages of pottery -- reported on by Derek W Hall (129--30) in `Pottery', artefacts, and faunal remains -- `The animal remains' by Catherine Smith (137--41). | ||||||||
