Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Exposed in the intertidal zone were a stone strew and a lengthy setting of timbers, to which a series a large, subrectangular dug pits at the same horizon conform. Evidence suggests that they are related and date from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. They appear to have formed a landing place at which some heavy and bulky material was unloaded. The landing place is unrecorded in the Welsh port books.
