C 584128. The principal interest of the barrow was its structure and its environmental history as reconstituted from extensive pollen and 14C analysis (21 dates, 1900 bc to ad 1400). The barrow's central pit contained turves laid in radial pattern, and a little cremated bone; a short cist lay over the pit. Circular mound, shallow ditch, low outer bank.
