Abstract:
Concludes the grave inventory and provides an osteoarchaeological report in `Appendix I: osteoarchaeological report' by Rosemary Barnacle, José Gibbs & Linda Hammond (101--6). The site has been scheduled by EH but not to the extent that it would be protected from further plough damage. Work in the area in the nineteenth century is presented in tabulated form in `Appendix II: tabulated data from all excavations' (106--20). The grave goods are described, including weaponry, knives, glass beads, buckles, strap-tags and iron fragments. See also ac1991.
