Includes historical and topographical notes on the Bridgwater friary by Ian Burrow. The med town ditch was found at Friarn Street, but the earliest occupation there was of 17th century. At West Quay the E wall of the castle was located, with a circular corner tower; good potential is seen for recovering other parts of the castle. | |||||
