Describes the hardware and software used in the Worcester city centre dig (RB to postmed levels). Graphics and desktop publishing programs are used and the computer now enters almost every aspect of the project from site planning to illustration, display, and public relations. Commercial software was chosen to avoid costly adaptations, and in consequence much interest has been shown by local authority staff, who benefit from training sessions on it. | |
