Aerial reconnaissance during 2005 identified a series of ditched enclosures adjoining the late-thirteenth-/early-fourteenth-century church and adjacent cemetery of St Baglan's. The alignment and proximity of the cemetery and enclosure boundaries seem to indicate that the enclosures were in existence at the time when the cemetery was enclosed, and may form part of a settlement lying alongside the church. | |||||||||
