Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
The results of the `Computers in Teaching Initiative Centre for History' survey of computer use in history, art history and archaeology testify to the dramatic increase in the use of computers in the teaching of these subjects over the past few years. The use of computers has enabled the introduction of many new courses and greater interaction between research and teaching. However, computers are still very much seen as research aids and little use is made of educational software. Many elements of these subjects do not use computers at all, and there remain considerable obstacles to their full integration into the curriculum. Survey results are described in full. | ||
