Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Landscape archaeologists should try to proceed beyond technical refinement and the reconstruction of local sequences to studying the social context of the archaeology. This means adopting a processual framework. The focus should be on small communities - their symbolic places and boundaries, and trying to find how contemporary attitudes to the landscape become critical in power struggles. |
