Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
A sherd long accepted as one of the few Arretine fragments from London is shown to be from a Dechelette 75 bowl made at Lezoux in late 2nd/early 3rd century; it cannot therefore now be used in the controversy about the extent of Arretine imports in the conquest period. A large vase from Cornhill, London and a sherd from York probably emanate from the same workshop. Au(adp) |
