Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
The European Community has only recently begun to concern itself with heritage matters, mainly architectural. The archaeological attitudes of the twelve member states range from the best (eg Denmark) to the worst (eg Belgium) in the world. The Single Market in 1992 will not have much impact unless our heritage managers, archaeologists, and museum staff unite in a determined campaign for 'what the European heritage can gain from 1992', some objectives for which are set out. |
