The problems of archaeology during the 1970s stemmed from an inefficient organizational structure, financial vulnerability, inadequate legislation, inadequate training, and lack of public awareness. Only central government can solve the problems of the 1980s, by ensuring adequate funds to prevent the threatened loss of knowledge. |
